About me

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by space, scale, and how people interact with their surroundings—imagining myself shrinking to the size of my toys and exploring architecture from new perspectives. What began as playful curiosity evolved into a passion for architecture, where creativity meets purpose. To me, architecture is more than design—it is storytelling, problem-solving, and a means of honoring culture, respecting the environment, and uplifting underrepresented voices.

As a Salish, Native American from the Tulalip Tribes in Washington, my approach to architecture is deeply rooted in place, history, and community. I am a senior architecture student at Arizona State University, pursuing a minor in Interior Design, which has strengthened my understanding of spatial experience, materiality, and human-centered environments. My work explores how design can be both highly functional and deeply meaningful—creating spaces that foster connection, identity, and respect for the land.

Through academic and professional experiences, I have worked on projects that integrate Indigenous knowledge, sustainability, and contemporary design, focusing on design development, research, modeling, and visual storytelling. These experiences have deepened my ability to create spaces that reflect the identities and needs of the communities they serve. My skill set includes Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite, allowing me to effectively communicate ideas and translate concepts into both physical and digital models.

As I transition from undergraduate studies into professional practice and a future Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program in Fall 2025, I am eager to continue exploring architecture’s role in sustainability, equity, and cultural representation. Whether through Indigenous place-keeping, biophilic design, or adaptive reuse, my goal is to craft spaces that bridge ecological responsibility, cultural storytelling, and human-centered design solutions.
