Origami, an art form dedicated to folding paper, originates from the Japanese terms "ori" (to fold) and "kami" (paper). Drawing its inspiration and name from this intricate tradition, the Origami Collections project transcends traditional barriers between model and architecture.
It starts with basic sketch models and uses natural materials to obscure the lines between spatial and scale dimensions, mirroring a communal area on an architectural scale and a distinctive book stand on the level of furniture. Designed to foster communal engagement, each crease in the structure offers a serene, private area for people to unwind and connect within the environment.
